We collaborated with Rachel Lears & Robin Blotnick to create artwork that captures the essence of their powerful films and appeals to new audiences to continue spreading the important messages within each of their works.

Rachel Lears & Robin Blotnick began following Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and three other Justice Democrats with a camera in 2017. A year and a half later, the footage they captured would go on to win Sundance’s “Festival Favorite” award and set the record for highest figure paid to filmmakers for worldwide rights to a documentary in film history.

Jubilee Films engaged us in the process prior to Knock Down the House making its debut at Sundance. When Netflix purchased Knock Down the House, they brought us on board to promote the film within the company’s blockbuster app. The result was an exercise in homage and playful expression. In 2022, Jubilee Films invited us to join the team once again as their climate justice documentary, To The End, hit the festival circuit. In addition to print & digital collateral, Tandem was fortunate to provide the typography including the title, for both films, giving many members of our team their first official credits in a feature film.
